Ensure that all new wind farms avoid the use of SF6.
Wind turbines have been using suphur hexafluoride, or SF6, to prevent electrical fires. This gas is 23,500 times more warming than carbon dioxide (CO2), and leaks have been increasing. Its use should be banned in all new wind farms now that alternative technology exists.
