To negotiate with the EU a deal on immigration to remain in the EU
The government must concentrate its negotiating strategy on negotiating a deal with the EU that would enable the UK to temporarily regulate inward immigration to a degree that would allay public fears of an unskilled influx of persons with little or no prospect of employment.
