allow female gymnasts to compete with shorts without being penalised
Female gymnasts are constantly facing discrimination when competing. They are forced to wear high cut uncomfortable leotards that rise up into your bottom when moving around. The reason? Because it’s distracting or you cannot see bent legs properly whereas men are aloud to wear shorts and longs.
Women face many body confidence issues and are forced to shave and feel embarrassed about their bottom being on show. They are also force to feel uncomfortable in all kinds of situations from a really young age and this is just not acceptable. How is it boys are aloud the easy way out. Without this rule so many more gymnasts would have stayed competing.
