Petition Action

Force the government to implement the EU Tax avoidance directive if no deal

Petition Details

We are leaving the EU with no deal before January 2020 so unscrupulous individuals can hide legal but immoral tax dealings. We should therefore implement the EU Tax avoidance directive regardless to keep inline with the EU fostering better trade negotiations and will be in the interest of the people

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

The Finance Act 2019 includes measures to ensure the UK is compliant with the Anti-Tax Avoidance Directive, so we're not sure exactly what you'd like the UK Government or Parliament to do.
