This week we have had another two intrusive stories about celebrities which were not in the public interest.

Let’s do what should have happened in 2012, let’s introduce proper standards to our press.

Additional Information

The culmination of the Leveson Inquiry was a series of recommendations, including a new watchdog independent of MPs and newspapers, with statutory underpinning.

These recommendations were not taken into law because politicians accepted assurances from newspaper owners.
