Every school in the country should have a compulsory Meat-Free Monday
Climate Change is the biggest issue of our time, and the animal industry is the biggest contributor to these emissions. If every school in the country were to cut down on their meat eating, then we would massively help the environment.
55% of greenhouse gas emissions are due to the animal industry.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Unfortunately we can't accept your petition as it isn't something for which the Government or Parliament are responsible. Individual schools or their governing bodies could make the decision to hold meat free Mondays, or similar schemes.
You could consider starting a petition on your local council's website or starting a local campaign to bring about the change you would like to see.
