The U.K. government should offer Thomas Cook a state backed rescue plan.
The U.K. government should reconsider a rescue plan for Thomas Cook and its employees. The government should take an equity stake which would give Thomas Cook breathing space to work out a plan for continued trading. It would give the 9000 UK employees some hope of keeping their jobs.
