Petition Details

After Thomas Cook administration. The pieces of the company are sold off and the money goes back to the faceless banks that wouldn’t save us. Now 21,000 employees have no job and lost a months salary. Some households lose two months salary. This just isn’t right. Let’s fix it.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

The Government has published advice for Thomas Cook customers and employees. You can find out more here:

www.gov.uk/government/news/are-you-a-customer-or-employee-affected-by-thomas-cook

The Secretary of State for Transport made an oral statement in the House of Commons on 26 September. You can read the statement here:

You could start a new petition calling for a clear action that is the responsibility of the UK Government or Parliament.
