Petition Details

The Supreme Court has ruled that Boris Johnson acted unlawfully in proroguing Parliament. A Prime Minister who has abused his power in this way is unfit to hold that position.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

The resignation of the Prime Minister would be an individual decision for that person, and not a decision for the Government or Parliament as a whole.

If you're concerned about a particular policy or decision that's the responsibility of Government or Parliament, you could start a petition about that.
