Petition Action

To allow public to call for a general election when no confidence in parliament.

Petition Details

At the moment only members of parliament can call a vote of no confidence and force a general election, therefore not allowing full accountability to the general public in relation to their actions and or omissions.

Additional Information

To ensure the democratic process is regulated by the people it is meant to serve. Many people consider that a potential MP says what they need to for election purposes and then don't follow through with these pledges once they have gained their seat for the duration of the next parliament.
