The Prime Minister Must Resign

Petition Details

Following today's (24th Sept) unanimous ruling that Boris Johnson's decision to suspend Parliament was unlawful, the Prime Minister should resign from his position.

The PM has wrongfully attempted to breach the United Kingdom's constitution and as such we the public no longer have faith in him.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

The resignation of the Prime Minister would be an individual decision for that person, and not a decision for the Government or Parliament as a whole.

If you're concerned about a particular policy or decision that's the responsibility of Government or Parliament, you could start a petition about that.
