Apologise to the Queen for asking her to agree to an unlawful prorogation
The Supreme Court has ruled the prorogation on 9 September unlawful. By asking the Queen to agree to it, the Prime Minister has placed her in an invidious position.
The Supreme Court has ruled that this was not a normal prorogation in the run up to a Queen’s Speech and that as the prorogation prevented Parliament from carrying out its constitutional role it was unlawful.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
This would be a matter for the Prime Minister, rather than the Government or Parliament as a whole.
