House of Commons to choose a Tory Backbench MP to challenge leadership of PM.

Petition Details

We, the electorate of Great Britain demand that a Tory Backbench MP, chosen by the House of Commons challenges the leadership of Boris Johnson.
The PM and his cabinet are not morally fit to govern this country, advise the Crown nor represent us before the EU.
We reject this PM and his cabinet.

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

The Prime Minister of the UK is not chosen by the UK Government or Parliament.
After a general election, the Queen decides who to invite to form a Government. In practice, this is usually the leader of the political party that wins the most seats in a general election.
