Stop BBC to address Jammu and Kashmir as India Administered Kashmir
At the time of partition of India in August 1947 the ruler of Jammu & Kashmir Hari Singh decided not to accede to either India or Pakistan. However when in October 1947 Pakistan attacked J&K Hari Singh signed the Instrument of Accession with India which was the same as signed by all Indian states.
The Instrument of Accession with India signed by Hari Singh was exactly the same as signed by all the other princely states of India to become a part of the Dominion of India and now internationally recognised as part of India. Hence the same should be with the state of Jammu and Kashmir.
