Any mp who defects to a new political party must be subject to a bi-election
Parliamentary mp's who have been voted in by thier constituents have no right to defect to a new party and sit in place to represent the constituents. they were elected to thier previous party by their constituants and have no right to do so without the constituents authority.
If mp's wish to defect to a new party then they must call an immediate bi-election and not sit in parliment until the matter is resolved and the mp in question has the full consent and vote of his or her constituants to do so.
