Make companies that drug test in the work place use a saliva test not urine.
A saliva test indicates whether a person is under the influence at the time of testing. Where as urine sample can show the use of a drug up to 30 days after use, and not that the person was under the influence at the time of testing.
Urine testing is an infringement on what an employee does in his/her personnel life, as this type of test shows usage in the past 30 days and not whether the person is under the influence at the time of testing.
Saliva testing shows if a person is under the influence at the time of testing.
If your not under the influence at work, surely that is all your employer needs to know.
Saliva testing is more accurate and doesn't require the person to urinate on command.
Urine testing is very intrusive.
