Petition Action

Formally recognise Latin Americans as a distinctive ethnic group in the UK.

Petition Details

Latin Americans have been officially recognised as an ethnic group by the London Boroughs of Southwark, Lambeth, Islington, and Hackney but without official recognition in the rest of the country the community remains invisible in terms of policy, strategy and practice.

Additional Information

There needs to be the inclusion of the category ‘Latin American’ in ethnic monitoring.
