A public monument before house of commons depicting legacy of african slavery.
As a black british person I believe that a fitting token depicting the legacy of african slavery is necessary. I am Mr Zaccheus Gilpin, mayor of london candidate may 2020.
1807 House of Commons passed a law abolition slavery.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
There is already a monument in the Victoria Tower Gardens, directly outside the Houses of Parliament, relating to the abolition of slavery. You can find out more here: www.royalparks.org.uk/parks/victoria-tower-gardens/things-to-see-and-do/the-buxton-memorial
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do.
