Require all school transport to use child locks
I am a mum of 5 children. My son Ethan is just five years old and severely autistic. He has recently started at a specialist school. He has a taxi to and from school. He and all children travelling to school in taxis should be kept safe at all times whilst travelling.
In recent weeks my son has been able to open the taxi door whilst in transit, resulting in an emergency stop. There is currently no law that states that a child lock needs to be used. The law must be changed before an innocent child dies.
