WW2 British Hardened Field Defences should become listed buildings
The great majority of Britain’s static defences have been destroyed. This started even before the war. Ditches and trenches have been filled, loopholes repaired, wood and metal recycled. Today hardly anything remains
I think these things should be protected because they’re of national importance as part of our national history. When they’re gone, they’re gone.
