Make CPR training compulsory in secondary schools in the UK
As the daughter of a survivor of a Sudden Cardiac Arrest, as well as being a qualified secondary school teacher with experience of teaching PSHE, I’d like to see CPR training in secondary schools made compulsory.
Norway teaches CPR in schools as a compulsory requirement, and their stats for an out of hospital cardiac arrest are 25%, opposed to 10% in the UK.
