Halt Barclays' plans to remove customers' ability to access cash at post offices
Barclays customers will not be able to withdraw cash at post offices from January 2020.
Due to bank branch closures, many people rely on post offices as a place to access vital banking services – especially in rural areas. UK Government must take action to protect people's access to banking.
Without access at their local post office, many people will have to travel many miles to access cash. This will present major challenges to older and disabled people.
Barclays’ actions will be damaging to customers and to a national institution - the local post office.
Government has a duty to protect people’s access to cash. It is unacceptable that people should suffer due to Barclays’ greed.

This is a decision for Barclays Bank and not the UK Government or Parliament.
