The BBC License Fee classified as TAX other media outlets don't require to view
License fee introduced in 1946 and updated for the introduction of colour television in 1968. In January 2006 the office of National Statistics classified the License Fee as a TAX where previously is was classified as a Service Charge. Why am I being forced by law to pay a TAX I no longer use?
