Ban all artificial NPK fertilisers and chemical pesticides in the UK (Full Stop)
The impact of artificial NPK fertilisers and chemical pesticides on surrounding flora and fauna, including run off entering the ocean, is accelerating the extinction process hand in hand with the meat, dairy and fossil fuel industries.
If the UK made inorganic farming illegal, with appropriate timeframes, incentives and subsidies, it would force farmers to invest in soil health, soil management and natural processes.
Passing laws that make responsible farming compulsory would have a dramatic and positive effect on the process of turning this catastrophic extinction crisis around.
Re-establishing and nurturing the long lost symbiotic relationship with the earth on which we and our descendants all rely on for life.
