Amend the Health & Social Care Act 2012 S75 to end outsourcing of NHS contracts
The Health and Social Care Act 2012 S75 requires that NHS England Clinical Commissioning Groups must put out to tender any contract worth over £615,000 - even if the NHS manages the service efficiently. Services that deliver the best care for patients are being taken over & run for private profit.
NHS managers & employees at all levels, Unite & GMB, & patients have all said that the requirement to put out to tender must be removed. It’s time for the government to listen to the experts & the public & take action. We demand that the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, Matt Hancock, block the sell-off.
