Adopt net instead of gross as the default way of describing salaries

Additional Information

Across the EU, salaries are advertised and described in terms of net payment to the employee.
The UK still stands-alone using gross income per annum.
It would make salaries much easier to comprehend, more understandable for foreign companies and workers, and mitigate worker disappointment when the salary they are expecting is cut by taxation if the UK adopted the European model.
