Allow prison to use emergency lights on vehicles when responding to emergencies
During the prison estate operational emergencies happen regularly. allow prison staff who live local to there establishment and respond regularly to use emergency lights on vehicles to allow all flowing traffic there is an emergency happening allowing staff to attend quickly and efficiently.
It is hard for prison staff to attend incidents that may be going on in the establishment with getting caught up in traffic delaying the response time for the need in extra staff to attend. This is a matter of urgency and importance and this also benefits the public to allow the prison staff to respond and protect the public further from any incident gaining out of control the national prison teams are allowed to use blue light allow all prison staff to use an emergency light to respond.
