Include first aid skills/cpr part of the school curriculum to help save lives
We live in a society where too many people haven’t a clue on how to help save a life, if someone’s heart stops their brain needs to be kept alive by cpr until a professional can attend the scene, often it is impossible for paramedics to arrive within the 4-5 mins required to avoid brain death
Far too many lives are lost because folk haven’t a clue on basic first aid skills and become bystanders while someone is dying in front of them, this needs to end.
It is often impossible for ambulance staff to get to a casualty inside the 4-5 minutes it takes for a brain to die through lack of blood circulation. These deaths can usually be avoided if everyone was taught essential first aid life skills in schools as part of the curriculum
