Require UK supermarkets to replace plastic bags with paper bags.
Due to environmental concerns and the high level of plastic waste polluting the seas. We require a ban of plastic bags.
Up to 80 percent of ocean plastic pollution enters the ocean from land. Only 1 percent of plastic bags are returned for recycling, That means that the average family only recycles 15 bags a year.
Normally, plastic items can take up to 1000 years to decompose in landfills.
