Epetitions with 100000 supporters automatically go before backbench business committee
Since e-petitions which have received 100000 signatures have not been considered further by the backbench business committee because no MP has deigned to make the case for their consideration, I propose that this step be removed in the interests of increased democracy. This would truly make epetitions an easy way for the public to influence Government policy.
