Change EU law to make testing products on animals a criminal offence

Petition Details

Animal testing for cosmetics is prohibited in the Union since March 2009 but we are still seeing images and videos recorded by undercover laboratory workers. The Metro posted video footage on 15th October 2019 showing how monkeys, beagles and cats are inhumanly treated.

Additional Information

These quotes were taken from the article which are backed up by the evidence in the video footage."They saw toxicology tests being carried out on beagles, monkeys, cats and rabbits". "The animals were even still waggling their tails when they were being taken to be killed, the dogs were desperate for human contact." "There are also cats and dogs that appear to be bleeding and dying after toxicity testing in the lab."
