Petition Action

Make it illegal for misleading headlines on news coverage on health and wellness

Petition Details

Our aim is to stop the media scaring people with unfactual headlines. Many don't read full articles and as a nation we are misinformed. If the news is headlined correctly from the beginning, people will be able to make better decisions based on truth. Vaping is a prime example of media slander.

Additional Information

eg: VAPE ALERT E-cigarette users warned ‘stop vaping NOW’ as FIFTH person dies of mysterious lung condition : https://www.thesun.co.uk/news/9881839/e-cigarette-stop-vaping-lung-condition-deaths/
This in our opinion SHOULD have been headlined: 'VAPE ALERT E-cigarette users warned 'stop vaping black market THC cartridges as 5th person dies '
