Greater Protection for Scottish Red Deer.
Petition to stop the continued slaughter and persecution of Red Deer populations in the highlands of Scotland.
-> Stop out of season culling and ban the use of helicopters for any aspect of population control.
-> Support for the introduction of new laws to prevent private land owners from completely removing (through culling) any deer species naturally resident on their land.
-> Dissolve the authority for government agencies (DCS & SNH) to impose culling orders on highland sporting estates without a prior community consultation being carried out. Agreement whether or not to proceed must be reached in conjunction with local MSP.
Save tax payers money and save the iconic Red Deer from becoming a rare and reclusive species.
