A review into mental health support for nurses

Petition Details

The Office for National Statistics have shown that more than 300 NHS nurses have taken their own lives in just seven years.

A toxic culture of bullying has resulted in more than on nurse committing suicide every week in 2014 alone, with statistics alarmingly on the rise.

Additional Information

Nurses often described a decline in their own mental health as a way of trying to cope with stress and are reluctant to seek support, fearing that it would blot there career.

We are asking for a review into mental health support for nurse's and any support to be easily available and swift to access.
