Social media to safeguard minors and influencers included in position of trust
Currently children from all over the UK are exploited, sexually, mentally and financially. There is no law to stop this from happening.
YouTubers and influencers hold one of the highest levels of trust within society today but are not included in the position of trust laws we currently hold.
Due to no laws covering this area there this a loophole.
We legally need to protect all minors under the age of 18. But our laws have not caught up with Social media, influencers and how easy it is to groom, manipulate and silence anyone.
Help us to #closetheloophole for good.

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action.
We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. In the UK, the law on positions of trust relates to sexual consent.
You could start a new petition explaining clearly what laws you would like the Government or Parliament to change, and how.
