Ensure School toilets meet minuimum standards for hygiene
School toilets are 'cest pits for infection' and are not up to standards. This is unfair on the students, some of which avoid using the school toilets due to the conditions, which can lead to futher health problems.
The school toilets should meet all of these:
-Handwash in every block of toilets
-There should be matching locks on every cubicle
-There should be no gaps in the cubiles for privacy
-Leaks in the toilet basins should be fixed within a week of it leaking
-All toilet blocks should be cleaned to a high standard and stocked up every evening
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
Maintenance of school toilet facilities is the responsibility of individual schools, rather than the Government or Parliament.
You could raise the issue with the senior leadership team or Board of Governors of your school.
