This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

Petitions need to call on the UK Government or Parliament to take a specific action.

We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. In particular, we're not sure which statements by political parties you're concerned about. You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do, for example calling for party political adverts to be regulated by the Advertising Standards Authority.

There are already petitions about political advertising and election manifestos. You might like to sign one or more of these if they call for something you'd like to happen. You're more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.
