HOLD A GENERAL ELECTION ON DECEMBER 12TH 2019

Petition Details

The Opposition parties are blocking a General election for their own political self interests. It is the democratic right for the electorate to be given an opportunity to elect a functioning government. A General Election MUST be held on December 12th 2019 to end this current parliamentary deadlock.

Additional Information

Boris Johnson the PM has called for a General Election on 3 occasions. The opposition Leader Jeremy Corbyn has refused the call on a number of grounds. He has set conditions which when the PM meets Mr Corbyn continues to move the goal posts. First it was on the passing of the Benn Act which is now an Act, then demanding the extension requested in the Act from the EU which has now been granted. Now he is demanding the PM guarantees a No Deal Brexit be removed which is an unrealistic demand.
