Petition Action

Facebook Violations

Additional Information

I/we ask the government to look in to and take appropriate action against facebook because i/we noticed on the new layout it displays a map of your location this is a clear violation of privacy and/or a breach of safety this should not be allowed on facebook

Furthermore it desplays all past information of whats published in years in which you cannot delete another violation as they should not stop people from deleting information they so wish to delete. If someone posted information by accident or someones account gets hacked who knows the person and puts say their personal information on there the real owner of that account cannot then delete.it

This petition was rejected

The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:

There's already a petition about this issue. We cannot accept a new petition when we already have one about a very similar issue.

You are more likely to get action on this issue if you sign and share a single petition.
