Voting Rights in Scotlands Independence Referendum
Scotland will have a referendum for independence in the not to distant future. The vote is of great importance to Scotland and to Scots living throughout the UK. At present if you live south of the border and were born in Scotland you will have no right to vote although other nationalities living in Scotland will have that right. The Scottish National Party state that it is for Scotland to decide what the terms of the referendum will be. Parliament should act and ensure the right to vote for all Scots wherever they live in the UK
