Work should Pay
The government should pass a law enabling working individuals & families to be economically better off than those on benefits. The government would publish details of the highest earner off benefits under different circumstances i.e. Single individual, family with two children etc. Tax payers could compare their own earnings under each circumstance add the cost of travel to work & 25% extra to be better off than some one on benefit. The government would than pay the working family the difference to ensure that "Work Pays".
