Reduce maximum benefits to a realistic level
The media gross salary for the UK (ONS) is £22,500. "Income Deprivation" is defined by gov't as earning <60% of UK median earnings.
It is not reasonable that maximum benefits should be capped at the proposed £26k p.a. This is deeply unfair to those who work and pay taxes.
ACTION:-
Max. benefit should be capped at approx. 80% of UK median salary i.e. £18,000 p.a.
