ALL E-PETITIONS THAT HAVE IN EXCESS OF 100,000 SIGNATURES MUST BE DISCUSSED IN PARLIAMENT. IF 5 MILLION VOTES ARE GAINED A REFERENDUM SHOULD BE HELD
At present even if 100,000 votes are gained for a petition, this does not necessairly mean it will be discussed in parliament. Once again, it will be down to a government run commitee to decide if it should be discussed further.
All petitions that receive 100,000 votes should be discussed in parliament, regardless of whether the commitee agrees or not.
If 5 million votes are gained, a referendum on the subject should be held for the public to decide.
You can't sign this petition because it is now closed. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
