award Peter Tatchell with the recognition he so rightly deserves.
We the undersigned feel that it is wrong that Peter Tatchell has not yet been recognised by the nation and the government for his life long service to the cause of equalities and human rights.
It seems only fitting he should be rewarded for his selfless devotion to equality.
It is self evident that without his tireless devotion and campaigning, the general public and many outstanding people would not enjoy there prominent places in sports, media, politics and the arts, without suffering the discriminations of the past.
We also feel with this he should be given a seat in the House of Lords.
