Search the car you stop - Officer!
Any Officer of the Law should have automatic right to search a vehicle when they have stopped that vehicle to question the Driver/Passenger for whatever valid reason.
If this HAD been the case, My 22 year old Son Chris Mills would not have been killed by two Killers with Samurai swords in the boot of their car just minutes after they were questioned in that car.
