Minister For Disabled People to be someone with direct experience of Disability.
The government-appointed Minister for Disabled People should be someone with direct personal experience of disability, preferably by being a disabled person themselves.
When the next Minister for Disabled People is to be appointed, a serious and genuine effort must be made to find a minister with real experience of living with impairment.
