Posthumous Medals for newly recognised war heroes

Additional Information

I want the Government to recognise posthumously, heroic actions taken in times of war, where the action was not personally witnessed at the time by a comrade, but records released later and other evidence shows that this person made the ultimate sacrifice for his comrades and country.
A specific Government committee should assess cases brought to their attention, and decide whether the particular act or incident deserves a better recognition of gallantry now that more facts and information are available and confirmed.
This will avoid the forthcoming situation where such heroes are recognised and remembered more in other countries than in their own.
