Matron Team Hospital Wide All wards to deliver consistent care
To bring about Matron Team over entire hospital to walk all wards to enforce consistent basic / medical patient care as individuals.
Remove all Matrons off individual wards and put on this team, to also include.
1. Pharmacists to ensure correct administered GP and hospital pharmacy medicines;
2. Members of the public who are bereaved by poor care of loved one;
3. Charities such as Age UK, Patient Concern, Pensioners Convention, illness support groups etc.
Such Matron Team to be above all doctors on all wards and free from any gagging of disclosure of poor care on individual wards, with the right to suspend staff delivering poor care to patients and champion the patient's rights to No Decision about me, without me about DNRs / witholding of food and water / treatment, making this illegal by this bill and replaced by treatment and Palliative care as standard and enforced by said Matron Team throughout all of hospital.
