Somaliland and Somalia
The UK has been ignoring Somaliland for too long. As the government have been active in other area, they sit by and let the worst abuses take hold in Somaliland. The UK government should put pressure on the United Nations and Somalia to recognise the nations independence. The UK should use it's position on the Security Council to propose dedicated Human Rights monitoring in Somaliland and Somalia. The UK should revoke all trade agreements with Somalia as their conduct in the Somaliland might breach European Union law.
