Reduce Speed Limit at Cherry Blossom Way, Nissan, Washington
On the 25th January 2012, my cousin Lee Davison sadly lost his life while cycling to work. Too many people are losing their lives on Cherry Blossom Way, Nissan. The speed limit needs reducing and there also needs to be sufficient lighting along this road. 60mph and no working lighting is absolutely disgraceful. A cycle lane would also be beneficial.
Please sign this epetition requesting for the speed limit to be reduced and hopefully help prevent other families from losing a loved one.
You can't sign this petition because it was rejected. But you can still comment on it here at Repetition.me!
The Government e-Petitions Team gave the following reason:
It is not clear from the petition whether Cherry Blossom Way is actually part of the Nissan site (in which case it is a private road) or part of Sunderland's road network. We suggest you redirect this petition to Sunderland City Council.
